China's National Day (国庆节) arrives on Thursday, October 1, and with it one of the country's two long public holidays — the famous "Golden Week". This year the official holiday runs from October 1 to October 7, 2026, with businesses nationwide resuming on Thursday, October 8.
Our Holiday Arrangement
- Closed: October 1 – 7, 2026 (factory production, office and documentation teams on holiday).
- Resuming: Thursday, October 8, 2026.
- Inquiries and orders received during the holiday will be processed from October 8 in the order received.
- Container bookings and vessel schedules already confirmed continue as planned; port operations follow the published holiday calendar.
- Urgent matters during the holiday: contact your dedicated sales manager by email or WhatsApp.
Why Q4 Buyers Should Act Before the Holiday
Golden Week is the pivot point of China's export calendar. Here is how it affects your order:
- Production slots fill before October 1. Orders confirmed by September 30 enter the pre-holiday production queue; orders placed after the holiday restart join October's schedule, typically 1–2 weeks behind.
- Ports are busiest right before and right after the holiday. Booking shipping space early avoids roll-overs as exporters rush cargo onto pre-holiday and post-holiday vessels.
- Year-end delivery season is close. For trucks and trailers to arrive, clear customs and earn revenue before December, October is the practical shipping window for most destinations — West Africa and East Africa routes in particular see fast-filling space as Q4 progresses.
Our Suggestion
If a purchase is already on your table, send us your target models and destination port now — we will confirm stock, provide the inspection report and quotation, and hold a production slot for you before the holiday begins. After October 8, everything continues as normal, but Q4 schedules reward early movers.
